Greek Concert: “Songs of Smyrna”

Embrace an evening of rarely heard Greek music and instruments as the Hellenic Institute of Cultural Diplomacy-USA presents “Songs of Smyrna” performed by Anatoliama Ensemble with special guest cellist Naseem Alatrash and vocalist Aimilia Chalkia. This hauntingly beautiful Centennial concert joins other events around the world in remembrance of Smyrna and commemoration of the tragic expulsion of Greeks from Anatolia, following WWI, after thousands of years living there.
