If you’re shopping for new construction around $500,000, Bradshaw Farms in Mount Juliet is worth a look. Here’s how I’d decide which builder to tour first.
At a Glance
Around $500,000, you have two single-family options to compare at Bradshaw Farms. Beazer had a home listed just under that price, while Davidson’s one-level Elkmont was listed for less and would still need to be built. If you qualify for Pulte’s 55+ Reserve and want your primary bedroom on the main level, there was also a townhome listed below $400,000.
| Builder | Active list prices on November 5, 2026 | One option to compare |
|---|---|---|
| Beazer Homes | $499,990–$509,990 | A single-family home listed at $499,990. Ask about the earliest closing date. |
| Davidson Homes | $429,900–$699,900 | The $429,900 Elkmont, a three-bedroom, one-level plan listed as to be built. |
| Pulte Homes at Bradshaw Farms Reserve | $399,640–$589,000 | A $399,640 townhome with the primary suite on the main level and a completion date listed as TBD. |

What does a $500,000 budget get you?
With Beazer, I’d start by walking the layout of the $499,990 home if it’s still available. See where your furniture would go, how much storage you’d have, and whether the kitchen and living areas work for your daily routine. Then ask what’s included at that price and when the builder can close. Explore Beazer at Bradshaw Farms
With Davidson, the Elkmont is worth a look if you want all three bedrooms on one level and have time to build. Before comparing it with Beazer, I’d get a written price for the specific homesite and any options you want. Davidson also had a five-bedroom Ridgeport listed at $699,900, so I’d narrow your shortlist by budget and move date before touring. Explore Davidson Homes at Bradshaw Farms

With Pulte’s 55+ Reserve, I’d look at how much of your daily routine you can keep on the main level. The $399,640 townhome had its primary suite downstairs and a second bedroom upstairs. If that setup works for you, confirm the community’s age eligibility, what the HOA covers, and when the home could be ready. Explore Pulte’s Bradshaw Farms Reserve
What I’d check before choosing a builder
Get the numbers for the home you’d actually buy. Beazer has advertised financing on select inventory homes, and Davidson has advertised a financing promotion for buyers who want to build. At Pulte’s Reserve, ask whether the specific townhome has any current closing-cost assistance. If a builder offers an incentive, I’d get the terms in writing and compare your cash at closing, monthly payment, and required closing date. If the rate benefit is temporary, ask what your payment would be after it ends. Beazer community offers · Davidson community offers.
Make the location part of your tour. If you’re new to Mount Juliet, take a drive from Bradshaw Farms to the places you’d go during a normal week. I’d start with your commute and a grocery run. That gives you a better feel for whether the location works for you. Explore my Mount Juliet community guide
Where I’d start
If you were one of my buyers with about $500,000 to spend and a move coming up soon, I’d start with Beazer and confirm the earliest closing date. If you have time to build and want a one-level single-family home, I’d price out Davidson’s Elkmont. If you qualify for the 55+ Reserve and want main-level living with less yard work, I’d put Pulte on your shortlist.
